SASSA payment dates explained

Most SASSA grants follow a predictable monthly schedule. The Older Persons Grant is usually paid first, followed by the Disability Grant, then the Child Support Grant. Those dates help you plan, but they do not work the same way for SRD R370.

The SRD R370 is checked month by month. That means your result can change each month. You can be approved in one month, then pending or declined in another month. Your pay day is also handled per month. A payment date is added after the month is approved and payment processing starts. This is why “Approved” does not always show a pay day immediately.
