Reapplication Pending
If your SRD status says “Reapplication Pending”, SASSA needs you to submit a fresh SRD application before they can assess you for new months. This usually happens when your previous application cycle ended, your details changed, or the system requires a reconfirmation.
Go to Official Status CheckWhat “Reapplication Pending” means
SASSA cannot assess you for new SRD months until you submit a reapplication.
Once you reapply, your status usually changes to submitted or pending while checks run again.
Why you might see this status
- Your previous SRD application cycle ended and the system needs a new submission.
- SASSA requested confirmation of your details for the current period.
- You changed key details (phone number, banking option) and the system requires a fresh application flow.
- Your application record exists, but it is not active for the new months yet.
What to do now
- Open the official SRD application page.
- Enter your ID number and follow the prompts.
- Confirm your phone number and complete OTP verification if asked.
- Submit your reapplication and then check status again.
What happens after you reapply
After you reapply, SASSA runs the same checks again.
- Your status may show submitted, pending, or verification checks for a while.
- If approved, your payday appears only once a month is approved.
- If you remain pending for a long time, recheck and confirm your phone and ID details match.
If you cannot complete reapplication
- If you do not receive OTPs, fix your phone number first.
- If you see ID mismatch messages, check identity verification guidance.
- If the site is down, wait and try again later, then confirm with the official status check.
